Speaking during the debate on the Covid-19 pandemic in Africa, the Minister Delegate recalled that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him, had given his high instructions, last June, for sending medical aid to more than 20 African countries.
Mr. Jazouli, underlined that African countries must find synergies between their economies and develop complementarities because after the emergency period, came the time of relaunch.
The Minister Delegate, also noted that the African Continental Free Trade Area is a unifying project, generating shared growth and inclusive co-development.
In this perspective, "the African Union must play the role of catalyst in order to strengthen intra-African solidarity", he underlined.
Mr. Jazouli also underscored the importance of the digital and technological component for the future of African economies.
The Minister Delegate stressed that the pandemic requires more concertation and pooling of efforts around the common values of solidarity and sharing in order to achieve the aspirations of "the Africa we want".
