Arab Foreign Ministers Laud Role of Al-Quds Committee, Chaired by His Majesty the King, in Protection of Holy City


A resolution, issued at the end of an emergency meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of the foreign ministers, welcomed the role of the Al-Quds Committee in the protection of the holy city and in support of the resistance of the Palestinian people, emphasizing the importance of efforts made by the Bait Mal Al Quds Asharif Agency to this end.
Under this resolution, the secretariat general of the League of Arab States was tasked with coordinating action with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to protect the city of Al-Quds against systematic aggression and policies of Israel.
Morocco was represented at this meeting, which was held by teleconference, at the request of Palestine, by Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, and Ahmed Tazi, Ambassador of Morocco to Egypt and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the League of Arab States.
