In a statement published on November 14, CEN-SAD expressed its support for the Moroccan authorities in all the measures they will take in full sovereignty and in full compliance with international legality to restore and appropriately preserve security and the free movement of people and goods, in the dynamics of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
CEN-SAD "strongly deplored the transgressions of resolutions 2414/2018 and 2440/2018", welcoming Morocco's attachment under the insightful leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the peace process led by the UN Secretary General.
CEN-SAD also welcomed the content of the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, and urged the United Nations to continue diplomatic actions under way for a final settlement to this crisis.
