The Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called, in a tweet published Friday evening, for allowing and maintaining the free movement of goods and people at the El Guergarat border post, while underlining its concern over the acts that happened there.
Colombia reiterated its support for the efforts for a negotiated, just, lasting and mutually acceptable political solution, in accordance with the process spurred by the various United Nations Security Council resolutions in this area.
