The Government of Grenada reiterated its unwavering support to Morocco and the United Nations for their efforts to maintain peace in the region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade, Industry, Co-Operatives & CARICOM Affairs, expressed Grenada’s satisfaction with the peaceful resolution of the blockade in El Guergarat.
In this regard, Grenada praised "Morocco's peaceful approach which has enabled civil and commercial traffic to be restored and a crisis to be avoided".
On this occasion, the Government of Grenada also applauded the efforts of the United Nations for the maintenance of peace and stability in the region.
