
During a declaration to the press, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic, Mr. Hugo Francisco Rivera Fernández pointed ou that The Dominican Republic reiterates its support for Morocco’s territorial integrity.
Mr. Fernandez reaffirmed his country's will to strengthen bilateral cooperation with the Kingdom in various areas.
The Dominican official also underlined the importance of working together with Morocco to address the challenges facing Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, particularly in the fields of investment, education and trade.
The High-Level Ministerial Conference on Middle-Income Countries is being held with the participation of 32 countries, including many represented at ministerial level, and 23 United Nations development agencies and other international and regional institutions.
Under the theme "Solutions to Address Development Challenges of Middle-Income Countries in a Changing World", this high-level Ministerial Conference is organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, jointly with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and the United Nations Development Programme.
