In this message, the Sovereign expresses His sincere congratulations to the President of Cameroon and His wishes of progress and prosperity for the Cameroonian people.

His Majesty the King welcomed on this occasion the "strong ties of African brotherhood" between the two countries which "are a major asset for the deepening" of bilateral relations, assuring the Cameroonian president of His determination to pursue joint action "to boost our partnership so that it becomes a model of strong and active inter-African cooperation, for the benefit of our two brotherly peoples, and in the service of peace, stability and sustainable development in our continent".
