His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to Fumio Kishida on the occasion of his election as prime minister of Japan.
The Sovereign expresses, in this message, His warm congratulations to Mr. Kishida, wishing him success in his high office and in his endeavors to lead the Japanese people towards further progress and prosperity.
"I avail myself of this opportunity to say how satisfied I am with the special relations rooted in friendship and fruitful cooperation between our countries. I am sure you share my strong desire to further strengthen and expand our ties in all sectors of common interest, for the benefit of our peoples," His Majesty the King added.
