His Majesty the King Congratulates President of Sao Tome and Principe on Independence Day

His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to President of the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe, Evaristo Carvalho, on the occasion of his country's Independence Day.
In this message, the Sovereign expresses His warm congratulations to Carvalho and His best wishes for more progress and prosperity to the people of sister Sao Tome and Principe.
HM the King praises, on this occasion, the distinguished relations between the two countries, based on friendship and cooperation, reiterating His determination to strengthen these ties and to extend them to encompass all areas of common interest, for the welfare of the two brotherly peoples.
