"I am pleased to renew contact with Your Majesty to express My deep consideration and gratitude for what you have expressed, along with My brothers Their Majesties and Highnesses, leaders of the Gulf States, in firm support of the Moroccan Sahara and in full support of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco", during the 42nd session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held in Riyadh, the royal message said.

The Sovereign also expressed his thanks to Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq "for this noble support which is not strange to your honorable country, which maintains with the Kingdom of Morocco deep-rooted fraternal relations based on solidarity, cooperation and mutual respect".

HM the King expressed His determination to work together with the Sultan of Oman to promote bilateral relations in the service of the common interests of the two brotherly peoples and to contribute to strengthening the foundations of the exemplary strategic partnership between the Kingdom and the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, "whose security and stability are an integral part of the security and stability of Morocco".

The Sovereign implored God to preserve Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq, to grant him good health, well-being and tranquility, and to crown his efforts with success to achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Omani people for more progress and prosperity.
