In this message, the Sovereign affirms having learned with deep sorrow the news of the death of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani, and expresses to the Emir of Qatar, and through him to all the members of the illustrious Princely Family, his deepest condolences and sincere feelings of sympathy.

HM the King prayed to the Most High to grant patience and comfort to the relatives of the late Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani, and to welcome the deceased into His vast paradise. "Verily we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return."
