His Majesty King Mohammed VI has sent a message of congratulations to Lieutenant General Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, President of the Transitional Military Council, President and Head of State of the Republic of Chad, on the occasion of his country's national holiday.
In this message, the Sovereign expresses His sincere congratulations to Mr. Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno and His wishes of progress and prosperity to the Chadian people.
On this occasion, HM the King expresses His "full satisfaction with the excellent ties of friendship and brotherhood" between the two countries, reiterating His willingness to pursue joint action to bring bilateral relations to a higher level, for the benefit of both peoples and the African continent.
