In this message, the Sovereign expresses to the president of Equatorial Guinea His warmest congratulations and His most sincere wishes for success in his high office in the service of the brotherly Equatorial Guinean people, welcoming the renewed trust in his person to serve his people and achieve their aspirations for further progress and prosperity.

On this occasion, the Sovereign assures Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of His determination to continue to work together with him to consolidate the ties of African brotherhood as well as the fruitful cooperation uniting the two countries and to strengthen it further in order to encompass different areas, for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples and in contribution to the development, stability and unity of the African continent.
