His Majesty King Mohammed VI has sent a message of congratulations to the President of the Republic of Cape Verde, Mr. José Maria Neves, on the occasion of the Independence Day of his country.
In this message, the Sovereign addresses His sincere congratulations to Mr. José Maria Neves and His wishes of progress and prosperity to the Cape Verdean people.
HM the King takes this opportunity to express His firm will to work with Mr. Neves to consolidate the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation that unite the two countries, "for the greater good of our two peoples and that of our continent."
