In this message, the Sovereign expresses to H.E Mahmoud Abbas His warmest congratulations and His sincere wishes of progress and prosperity to the Palestinian people in peace, freedom and independence.

On this occasion, His Majesty the king voices His permanent pride in the strong ties of brotherhood and cooperation uniting the two countries and peoples, reiterating the constant support of the Kingdom of Morocco to the continuous efforts of the Palestinian president aiming at achieving the aspirations of the Palestinian people to regain their just rights, notably the right to an independent State with East Al-Quds as capital, in accordance with the resolutions of the international legitimacy.
