The Sovereign expresses, in this message, his warmest congratulations to the Director-General of the WHO, wishing him every success in his high office.

HM the King underlines that the renewed confidence in Mr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, for a second term, by the Member States of the Organization shows their support for the efforts he is undertaking to ensure the optimal implementation of WHO programs and keep up with the developments of the health sector throughout the world.

On this occasion, the Sovereign reiterates to the WHO Chief the support of the Kingdom of Morocco for all the initiatives and strategic plans carried out by the WHO to develop the health system and improve its services, and to address the challenges and issues imposed by the health sector, both on the African continent and around the world.
