
In a Joint Statement signed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, Nurtleu welcomed the Royal Initiatives aimed at promoting peace and stability and contributing to the socio-economic development of the African Continent.
Thus, the high-ranking Kazakh official, who is on an official visit to the Kingdom at the invitation of Mr. Bourita, "praised the Atlantic Initiative launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to enable access for Sahel countries to the Atlantic Ocean, as well as the Initiative of Atlantic African States to promote peace, stability and shared prosperity in the African Atlantic region."
Likewise, he "commended the ambitious African-Atlantic Gas Pipeline strategic project, recognizing its contribution to the development of African countries and the well-being of their populations."
The Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs also "expressed his admiration for Morocco's social and economic development under the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, while pointing it up as a model of development and resilience in the region."
He also "commended the ongoing process of the Moroccan Family Code reform, in line with the High Guidelines of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, aimed at ensuring the stability of the Moroccan family and protecting the rights of women and children."
The Republic of Kazakhstan also congratulated the Kingdom of Morocco on its co-hosting of the 2030 edition of the Football World Cup, an event of global stature that will raise the profile of the Kingdom and the African continent in the field of sport, in keeping with the High Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him.
Moreover, Nurtleu "hailed the role of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in his capacity as Chairman of the OIC’s Al-Quds Committee, in supporting the Palestinian cause and the continuous efforts deployed by His Majesty the King to protect the Islamic holy sites in Al-Quds Asharif."
Kazakhstan also "appreciated the concrete role played by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, stemming from the Al-Quds Committee, through the implementation of development projects and activities benefiting the inhabitants of the Holy City by supporting their resilience."
The Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs also "praised the humanitarian aid operations ordered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in favor of the Palestinian population in Gaza and the Holy City of Al-Quds."
The two ministers also reaffirmed Morocco and Kazakhstan's support for the two-State solution, with the establishment of a Palestinian State within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, living side by side with Israel in peace.
They welcomed the ceasefire in Gaza while emphasizing the importance of respecting this agreement and ensuring a continuous flow of humanitarian aid.
