Kingdom of Eswatini Welcomes US Decision To Recognize Full Moroccanness of Morocco over Its Sahara
"The Kingdom of Eswatini has the honor to join the Moroccan people in celebrating the historic decision taken by the United States of America during the year 2020 to recognize the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco over the entire territory of the Sahara", wrote Eswatini's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in a press release.
The same source added that "Eswatini also applauds the decision of the United States to soon open a Consulate in Dakhla for economic purposes." "This development confirms our conviction of the sovereign rights and responsibilities of Morocco over the entire territory of the Sahara," it noted.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Eswatini also emphasized that the Kingdom of Eswatini welcomes the decision of the Kingdom of Morocco to establish and resume relations with the State of Israel, because this goes hand in hand with Morocco's unequivocal position and the tireless call by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to preserve the special status of the holy city of Al Quds.
Eswatini expressed "its full satisfaction with the commitment made by His Majesty the King and the President of the United States to work for a peaceful negotiation of relations between the State of Israel and the State of Palestine", underlined the press release.
