Laâyoune ( MAEC) - Following a meeting with the Minister of Foreign affairs, African cooperation and Moroccans expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, on the sidelines of the 3rd Morocco-Pacific Island States Forum, the Minister of Communication of Solomon Islands , Mr. Ped SHANEL AGOVAKA exprssed, in a declaration to Diplomatie.ma, the will of his country to open an honorary consulate in Laayoun.
‘’We requested the government of Morocco to establish an honorary consulate to represent Solomon Islands here in Laayoun.
This will serve the interests of our people and those of the government of Solomon Islands, and reciprocally, we would like that the Kingdom of Morocco be represented the in Solomon Islands, so that we can advance the MOUs, but also the roadmap according to the Laayoune declaration.’’ he announced
