In this message, the Sovereign expressed to His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani His feelings of esteem and great satisfaction with the bonds of sincere brotherhood and mutual esteem uniting His Majesty the King and the Emir of Qatar, as well as the two families, and with the relations of constructive cooperation and active solidarity linking the two brotherly peoples.

The Sovereign said he is proud to present to Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani the sincere feelings of gratitude and recognition "for the clear and strong support that You have expressed, along with My Brothers their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the Gulf countries", to the Moroccanness of the Sahara and the full and continuous support so that Morocco recovers its southern provinces", and this during the 42nd session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC), held in the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

His Majesty the King praised this fraternal and sincere position which emanates from an Arab pride made of values of nobility and magnanimity and proceeds from a permanent concern to strengthen the relations of brotherhood and solidarity between the two brotherly countries and to defend their common supreme interests.

The Sovereign reaffirmed to HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani the strong determination of the Kingdom of Morocco to move forward in strengthening solid relations with brotherly Qatar, in recognition of its strategic partnership with the GCC countries, noting that "the security and stability of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries are an integral part of Our security and stability, as I reaffirmed during the Morocco-Gulf Countries Summit held on April 20, 2016 in Riyadh".

His Majesty the King implored God to grant good health and long life to Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani and to crown with continued success His efforts to lead, with wisdom, the brotherly Qatari people towards more progress and prosperity.
