MFA Bourita Holds Talks with Swedish Counterpart
The two ministers welcomed the excellent relations between the two countries, while underlining the need to strengthen political dialogue as well as bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic sector and renewable energies.
On the issue of the Moroccan Sahara, the two ministers reiterated the need for all parties to respect the ceasefire and to remain fully engaged in the political process under the aegis of the United Nations.
The two sides, who also discussed regional and international issues of common interest, pledged to strengthen coordination for stabilization and development in Africa, particularly in the Sahel region.
The two ministers underlined the need to deepen cooperation between the two countries at the multilateral level and within international bodies, in several areas, in particular those of migration, interreligious dialogue, sustainable development and climate change.
