MFA Nasser Bourita Holds Talks with His Central African Counterpart
Following their talks, Ms. Sylvie Baïpo-Temon, reiterated her country's support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom, welcoming Morocco's efforts to achieve a political, realistic, practical and lasting solution to the artificial dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.
The Central African Republic "supports the autonomy plan initiative presented by the Kingdom of Morocco as the one and only solution within the framework of its territorial integrity", said Ms. Baïpo-Temon.
The Minister added that her talks with Mr. Bourita were an opportunity to commend the excellent bilateral relations, to review a number of issues of common interest and to take stock of the political and security situation in the Central African Republic.
Regarding the fight against terrorism, Ms. Baïpo-Temon underlined the importance of all parties’s commitment in the efforts to dry up the sources of terrorism in Africa. In this regard, she praised the efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in terms of the fight against terrorism in all its forms and the Sovereign's vision for the promotion of development in the continent.
