The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, held talks on June 21, 2022 in Rabat with Israel's Interior Minister, Ms. Ayelet Shaked.
Following the bilateral talks with MFA Bourita, Ms. Shaked reaffirmed her country's support for Morocco's sovereignty over the Sahara. "Israel reaffirms its support for Morocco's sovereignty over the Sahara," Ms. Shaked told reporters.
The talks focused on "the strong bilateral relations and the common projects that the two countries will accomplish," she indicated.
