MFA Nasser Bourita holds talks with the President of the National Assembly of Serbia
Mr. Bourita and Mr. Dačić welcomed the excellent historical relations between Morocco and Serbia and the positive progress they have known in recent years.
The two officials agreed on the necessity to intensify political consultations and develop economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
Mr. Bourita noted that Morocco represents a main partner of Serbia in Africa, while recalling the key role played by the National Assembly, through the Moroccan-Serbian Friendship Group, in strengthening bilateral relations.
Mr. Dačić commended Morocco’s support for his country’s territorial integrity while expressing Serbia's support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.
The visit of this parliamentary delegation comes a few weeks after the visit of the Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nicola Selakovic, to Morocco, carried out as part of the celebration of the 64th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and during which several agreements covering different areas of cooperation have been signed.
