MFA Nasser Bourita holds talks with the President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Eswatini
In a statement to the press after the talks, Ms. Lindiwe said that Eswatini wishes to draw inspiration from the Moroccan parliamentary experience, adding that her country has launched the construction of a parliament.
The Eswatini official had held talks with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Rachid Talbi El Alami, during which she welcomed the strong support of the Moroccan Parliament in the defense of African issues, particularly those related to migration, human rights, cultural and civilizational diversity, as well as the policies of the Kingdom in promoting the situation of women and gender equality.
She had emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences and expertise with the Moroccan Parliament, to mutually benefit from good practices in the legislative, administrative and technical fields, praising in this sense the depth and development of the Moroccan parliamentary practice.
The President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Eswatini had also held talks with the Speaker of the House of Councillors, Mr. Enaam Mayara. On this occasion, both parties stressed the need to strengthen parliamentary cooperation and exchange expertise between the two legislative institutions.
