In a statement to the press following their meeting, Ms. Liser said the “CCA will work with the Moroccan Government and private sector to ensure the success of the next edition of the U.S.-Africa Business Summit scheduled for next July in Marrakech”.
She indicated, in this regard, that many meetings will be held on this occasion with the government and the private sector in Morocco to ensure that this event achieves its objectives.
The U.S.-Africa Business Summit, which will bring together more than a thousand participants including business leaders and heads of Government, aims to create partnerships and sustainable opportunities between key decision makers in the public and private sectors of America and the African continent.
This edition is also an opportunity for the various organizations to explore new perspectives to strengthen the economic partnership between the United States and Africa, while highlighting the next phase of the economic partnership between the two parties, particularly in the areas of U.S.-African regional trade, energy, digital transformation and trade finance.
Established in 1993 to promote business and investment between the United States and African nations, the CCA works closely with Governments and businesses to improve the trade and investment climate in Africa and to raise the continent's profile in the U.S. business community.
