During this meeting, Mr. Bourita and his Gambian counterpart signed two cooperation agreements in the fields of health and diplomatic training aimed at further strengthening the exchange of experiences and expertise between the two countries.

In a press briefing after their talks, Mr. Bourita highlighted “the excellence” of relations between the two countries, backed by “solid economic ties and a diverse and rich cooperation”.

He also affirmed that beyond the historical ties of the two countries and the unwavering and reciprocal support that has been going on since their respective independence, Morocco and The Gambia totally share viewpoints at the level of their sub-region, as well as on continental issues.
