Moroccan Humanitarian Aid delivered to the Palestinian people

The humanitarian aid which consists of 40 tons of food, emergency medicine and blankets is geared towards the Palestinian people in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip and is part of the Kingdom’s ongoing support and active solidarity with the Just Palestinian Cause.
The first batch of this aid arrived on Sunday, May 16th at Marka Civil Airport in the Jordanian capital Amman. The delivery of this aid took place in the presence of Moroccan Ambassador to Jordan, H.E. Mr. Khalid Naciri and the Representative of the "Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization" (JHCO).
The Royal Armed Forces continued this operation by delivering on Monday, May 17th the second batch of this emergency aid.
In Cairo, the batch carrying 20 tons of humanitarian aid was received on Tuesday, May 18th, by the Ambassador Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the Arab League, Mr. Ahmed Tazi.
The Kingdom of Morocco had denounced, in the strongest terms, the violence perpetrated in the Palestinian territories which leads to deepening the gap, increasing hostility and reducing the chances of peace in the region.
The Kingdom of Morocco has always placed the Palestinian issue at the forefront of its concerns and its attachment to the internationally agreed two-state solution, living side by side in peace and security, passing through the creation of a Palestinian state within the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
