Morocco is Cooperating Intensively with Partner Countries and International Organizations Involved in Counterterrorism
In a speech at the high-level regional conference of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) on the theme "Foreign terrorist fighters, Addressing Current Challenges", Farhane stressed that Morocco is cooperating intensively with partner countries and organizations, at bilateral and multilateral levels, in the field of information sharing and judicial cooperation in the field of the fight against terrorism, said a press release from the Embassy of Morocco in Austria.
The diplomat recalled, during this conference organized on February 11 and 12, that the Kingdom has made a great contribution to international efforts to fight terrorism, as well as to fight the incitement and the recruitment of foreign terrorist fighters, the same source noted.
Morocco has made the strategic choice to strengthen south-south, north-south and tripartite cooperation, through the implementation of concrete projects with many countries in areas that are essential to the achievement of stability and sustainable human development, noted Farhane, adding that the multidimensional participation of the Kingdom at the regional level is not only limited to providing military training for a number of African countries, but also includes strengthening regional and inter-regional cooperation by sharing and exchanging information.
The Kingdom's approach, based on cooperation, has proven to be effective and has made it possible to dismantle numerous terrorist cells and thwart many terrorist attacks around the world, in addition to taking proactive measures against the continuous development of cross-border threats, noted the diplomat.
