
This position was expressed during the sixth session of the Morocco-Yemen Joint Commission, chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, MFA Nasser Bourita, and the Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Shayea Mohsen Al-Zindani.
On this occasion, MFA Bourita praised the depth of the fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples, emphasizing the Kingdom's commitment to giving a stronger push to these relations in various areas and extending them to broader horizons.
He also reviewed the potential of both countries and the importance of making the most of them in an optimal manner.
For his part, the Yemeni minister expressed his pride in visiting his second homeland, the Kingdom of Morocco, reaffirming Yemen's desire to explore all means to strengthen, develop, and diversify cooperation between the two countries, covering various areas for the mutual benefit of both parties.
Additionally, Al-Zindani congratulated Morocco, on behalf of his country, for co-hosting the 2030 World Cup with Spain and Portugal, considering it an "honor for all Arab countries."
The talks between the two ministers focused, in particular, on evaluating the process of bilateral cooperation and its development, as well as exchanging views on Arab, regional, and international issues of common interest. They noted with satisfaction the convergence of their viewpoints in this regard.
