Rome, (MOFA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, held talks Wednesday in Rome with Italian minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, focusing in particular on the positive dynamics of relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them.
The talks tackled the evolution of bilateral relations which have been elevated to the rank of "Multidimensional Strategic Partnership" signed in November 2019.
The two Ministers also agreed on ways and means to strengthen cooperation in the cultural and scientific fields, in addition to international and regional issues of common interest, including the Libyan question.
The talks are part of Mr. Bourita's official visit to Rome at the invitation of his Italian counterpart.
