The two ministers praised, on this occasion, the excellent relations between Morocco and Malta and expressed their resolve to maintain the momentum of their reinforcement within the Euro-Mediterranean framework, with a view to jointly addressing the implications of the coronavirus pandemic.

Malta's FM renewed his invitation to Mr. Bourita to pay an official visit to Malta.

The two parties welcomed the holding earlier this morning, via videoconference, of the 5+5 Dialogue meeting and underlined the convergence of their positions on several regional and international issues of common interest.

With regard to Libya, Malta's FM commended the constructive role and credible efforts made by Morocco to resolve this issue, in light of the encouraging results obtained at the end of the Libyan Dialogue held in Bouznika in September and October 2020.
