Mr. Nasser Bourita: Marhaba Operation in Usual Form Not Launched Due to Objective Constraints
In response to a central question at the House of Representatives, Mr. Bourita stressed that the Marhaba operation, which goes beyond the simple crossing and includes cultural and recreational activities, requires preparation as early as April, in coordination with the various parties concerned.
"Today, it is obvious that the Marhaba operation, as we know it every year, is not taking place this summer, as it was not prepared as early as April," he explained.
With regard to the return of Moroccans residing abroad, the minister stressed that this is a natural process that will depend on the opening of Morocco's land and air borders, the measures adopted by transit countries, the national and international health situation and the health protocol that Morocco will adopt.
