S.E.M Patrick Pruaitch to Diplomatie.ma: Papua New Guinea wants to further strengthen bilateral cooperation with Morocco

Laâyoune (MAEC) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Papua New Guinea, H.E Patrick Pruaitch, who represented his country at the 3rd Morocco-Pacific Island States Forum, held in Laayoune from 26 to February 28, expressed the will of his country to further strengthen bilateral cooperation with the Kingdom, as part of a win-win partnership.
Mr. Pruaitch, who had a meeting on Friday in Laayoune with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Mr. Nasser Bourita, told Diplomatie.ma that Papua New -Guinea “welcomes the invitation extended to him by Morocco to take part in this 3rd edition”.
"Our presence in Morocco aims to strengthen the bilateral cooperation that we maintain and that we want to deepen further for the resolution of certain problems and challenges we face," he said, emphasizing climate change. and that affects the world today.
At the same time, "we also want to develop cooperation in the area of food security, which is a major concern for us as a small island state," said the Papua New Guinea official.
