The statement also underlined the commitment of the two parties to the dialogue, and to "assume responsibility for the democratic path and to embody the full Libyan ownership of the political process, in order to achieve the expected objectives of the dialogue, mainly the unification of state institutions and allow the executive power to pave the way for the holding of legislative and presidential elections on a constitutional basis ".
