UNGA75: The Participation of Morocco marked by its reaffirmed faith in consolidated, pragmatic and active multilateralism
This General Assembly will be an opportunity for Morocco to reaffirm its faith in multilateralism, renew its trust in the universal organization and plead for more international solidarity and cooperation in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Multilateralism has been a guiding principle in the Kingdom's foreign policy ever since it joined the UN on November 12, 1956. Since His accession to the throne of His glorious ancestors, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him, has set out an ambitious vision based on the principles of solidarity and cooperation around the three pillars of United Nations action: “Peace and security”, “Development” and “Human rights”.
The Kingdom of Morocco thus actively contributes to the preservation of world peace and security, pleads for sustainable and equitable development, and works for the promotion and respect of human rights thus embracing the values upheld by the United Nations.
