MFA Nasser Bourita receives his Gambian counterpart
This visit, which comes few months after Mr. Tangara’s last official visit to Morocco, was the opportunity for the Gambian Minister to deliver to MFA Bourita a message from the Gambian President, Mr. Adama Barrow, addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him.
Mr. Tangara also reiterated his country's constant support for Morocco’s territorial integrity, while recalling that The Gambia was the first country to have opened a diplomatic representation in the city of Dakhla.
Since His Majesty the King's visit to The Gambia in 2006, during which 8 agreements were signed, the relationship between the two countries witnessed a new impulse. Today, a solid legal framework of more than ten agreements consists the basis of the relation between the two countries.
