MFA Nasser Bourita receives the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands
In a statement to the press following this meeting, Ms. Shreinemacher affirmed that her visit to the Kingdom is part of strengthening the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries, especially in the economic field.
"Our visit to Morocco reflects the excellence of our friendly and cooperative relations," she said, emphasizing that the two countries maintain good economic relations and are working to establish new foundations for their future partnership.
After expressing her country's condolences following the recent earthquake that struck the Kingdom, Ms. Shreinemacher stated that during this visit, she is leading a delegation of Dutch businessmen specialized in water management and agriculture, with the aim of assisting in the reconstruction of the earthquake-affected regions.
While noting the presence of a strong Moroccan community in the Netherlands, numbering 400,000, the minister conveyed her country's commitment to contribute to Morocco's efforts in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of areas affected by the earthquake.
