In this joint communiqué, The Republic of Madagascar hailed the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the Royal initiatives in favor of intra-African development, the promotion of peace, stability and shared prosperity.

The Republic of Madagascar welcomed the upcoming opening of its new Embassy in Rabat, with the aim of boosting bilateral relations and cooperation with the Kingdom of Morocco.

the Malagasy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Rasata Rafaravavitafika, stated that this opening consolidates a strong will to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

In this regard, Ms. Rafaravavitafika emphasized that this Embassy will mark the beginning of a new era in bilateral relations and will provide her country with the opportunity to benefit from Morocco's successful experience in various fields.

On the Sahara issue, the Republic of Madagascar welcomes the serious and credible efforts of the Kingdom of Morocco to move forward towards resolving the dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

In this regard, the head of Malagasy diplomacy reiterated her support for the efforts made by the United Nations.

In this context, the two parties reaffirmed their commitment to the principles of international law, particularly the sovereignty of states.
