Welcoming the perfect concordance of the points of view of the two countries on the various regional and international issues of common interest, the two parties also highlighted the priority and interest of the two countries in the development of relations of political consultation, based on the respect and defense of the sovereignty and unity of African States.
Regarding the Moroccan Sahara issue, the Moroccan side welcomed the favorable position adopted by the Congo on this question which has resulted in its support for the efforts made by the Kingdom of Morocco to achieve a negotiated political solution to this regional dispute, adding that Jean-Claude Gakosso reaffirmed the seriousness and credibility of the Moroccan autonomy initiative leading to a final settlement of this issue, under the auspices of the United Nations (UN), as endorsed by Decision 693 adopted by the African Union (AU) Summit in Nouakchott in 2018.
On the subject of Libya, the two Ministers lauded the efforts already undertaken by the new executive towards a political settlement of the situation in this country, stressing the important role of the AU in the search for a solution in Libya, through the High-Level Committee on Libya chaired by President Denis Sassou N'Guesso.

The two Ministers also stressed the importance of strengthening communication and coordination in the various multilateral platforms, including the AU and UN, in order to make diplomatic actions undertaken at the level of these bodies more consistent with the official positions adopted by the two countries on various issues of common interest.
In the same spirit, the two parties are committed to support, in a concerted and mutual way, the Moroccan and Congolese candidacies at the level of regional and international bodies.
