COVID-19: High Royal Instructions for Sending Emergency Medical Aid to Tunisia
Tuesday 13 July 2021
Following the worsening of the epidemiological situation in Tunisia, due to a sharp increase in contamination cases and deaths linked to Covid-19, HM King Mohammed VI has given His Very High Instructions for sending emergency medical aid to this brotherly Maghreb country.
The medical aid ordered by HM the King will consist of two complete and autonomous intensive care units, with a total capacity of 100 beds. It will also include 100 respirators and two oxygen generators with a capacity of 33 m3 per hour each.
The aid will be airlifted by Royal Air Force planes. This decision of HM the King falls within the framework of the ties of active solidarity between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Tunisia, as well as of the authentic fraternity which unites the two brotherly peoples.
